Man Will Learn

This is not the only day for Salvation. But, it is a day of Salvation for all God will call. God isn’t calling everyone today. He hasn’t been, and isn’t, at this end time of Satan’s rule for these 6,000 years, trying to save the world.

God knows Satan has deceived the whole world, and is called the god of this earth, who has blinded man from understanding true and pure religion, and the plan of Salvation. God has allowed this to happen because He knows most people would not obey. Mankind has not learned his lesson, and will not until he has brought himself to the brink of annihilation, that his way doesn’t pay.

Mankind is deceived but he has been willingly deceived, because he doesn’t want to obey His maker. This world thinks freedom is doing what you want to do. True freedom is doing what you should. Now the question is, what should we do? God tells us in His word that man is to live by every word of God. Deut. 8:1 "Every commandment which I command you today you must be careful to observe, that you may live and multiply, and go in and possess the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers. This is for you and me today, as well as the whole world. It would have paid big dividends and still would to be careful, make sure you live by, all God has commanded in His word, which would give us a good life.

V :2  "And you shall remember that the Lord your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not. Yes, God will try and test, and chasten everyone that obeys Him. God wants to know if we are fit for His kingdom.

Jesus Christ will establish God’s kingdom on earth when he returns. God will not have a rebel in His family, which will be God the Father, His son Jesus Christ, and the resurrected saints from Abel, to the last one that has died just before Christ returns, as well as the saints living at His return, which will be changed instantly, as the bible tell us. They will be born as spirit beings, sons of God, and brothers of Jesus Christ right into the family of God.

Yes, it will be the family of God that will govern the earth with, and under Jesus Christ who will be the king over all the earth. There is a change of government coming, and it is just around the corner. God will not allow a rebel to live, and cause trouble on this earth, as has been while Satan is the god of the earth.

God is allowing man to learn a hard, and biter lesson, that the way that seems right to him leads to death, and a miserable life on your way to death. By the time Christ returns, man’s way will have led and swayed by Satan to the brink of annihilation, Christ has to intervene to save man from himself, at that point for most part, man will be ready to try a new way of life, and it will be the way God intended from the creation of man.

Deut. 8:3     "So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.

The Potential of Humanity

In the book of Psalms, Chapter 8, V. 3, reads:  When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained

David was considering the creation of God, and he stood in awe of God’s work of creation. Now notice V. 4,   what is man that you are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? David wondered why God was even mindful of man and what was the purpose for man. V. 5   for you have made him a little lower than the angels, and you have crowned him with glory and honor.

David begins to tell us the purpose of man on the earth as a physical creature for these 6,000 years that we were made a little lower than Angels. Yes man is flesh mortal, Angels are spirit, and have more power than man. But, the last part of V.5 says you have crowned him, that is man, with glory, and honor. V. 6, you have made him to have dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet, (do we have dominion over all the works of God’s hands now? Has God put all things under man’s feet, or control, at this time in this life? V. 7-8   All sheep and oxen Even the beasts of the field, The birds of the air, And the fish of the sea That pass through the paths of the seas. Tells us what is under man’s control now.

Gen. 1:26, 28  Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.''  28.  Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.''

But is that the entire rule and authority God intended mankind to have? Well, yes, at least in this life with the exception of ruling your own spirit, or, mind, with Gods help. It seems very few understand they can rule their own spirit, mind and attitude or emotions. Much too often we let them rule us--which shouldn’t be.

My friends, God has much more for man to do than meets the eye in these scriptures just quoted. All of the power and authority hasn’t been given to man in this life that God intends to give him.

In Heb. 2:5, For He has not put the world to come, of which we speak, in subjection to angels. Paul was inspired to write of the authority yet to come to man. That is if we qualify. The world to come will not be in subjection to Angels. Meaning Satan and his demons, which are fallen angels, or to put it even plainer, angels that turned against God’s way before man was created, so the angels that sinned, became Satan’s demons. 2 Peter 2:4 For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; This verse tell us many angels sinned. But God has allowed Satan to continue to be the god of this earth in this world today. His time is just about up, and the kingdoms of this world will become the kingdoms of Jesus Christ. Rev. 11:15 Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!''  And man has the potential of being over the Angels, which have remained loyal and faithful to God.

Man was created for a special purpose, and this life is only the time and training ground to prepare for the time when all things will be under his feet, or his dominion and if you qualify for that first resurrection, you will be given much power and authority at that time. Rev. 20:4-6  And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. V.5.  But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.  V.6.  Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

In God’s Likeness

Job 32:7  I said, `Age should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.' (NKJV).  Age should be able to teach wisdom and direct you in the right path, and especially the right spiritual path. V. 8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. (KJV)

So if you have the inspiration of the Holy Spirit in you, then you would understand the way God intended you to live your life. It takes God’s spirit in you to unlock, and understand the plan of salvation, and your part in it God links you to Him, by His Spirit, which He gives to those that obey Him.

Acts 5:32 "And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him'' (NKJV).  It takes God’s Spirit in our spirit, or mind, which is a spiritual component, to give us spiritual understanding.

Job32:9   Great men are not always wise, nor do the aged always understand justice (NKJV). Now why aren’t great men, and old men always wise, and understand justice, or divine law, God’s way, the plan and purpose for human life? Well, because they don’t have that missing ingredient that you weren’t born with, God’s Holy Spirit.

Had Adam and Eve obeyed God, they would have been given that ingredient, God’s Spirit, which would have begun the process of building God’s mind, attitude, and Holy righteous character in them. The whole world would have known God for these 6,000 years. What a different world it would have been, and would be today.

As it is, Satan is the god of the earth, and has been for these 6,000 years. He has deceived the whole world. Rev.12:9   So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.(NKJV) He has blinded the minds so the world can’t understand. 2 Cor. 4:3-4  V.3.  But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, V.4. whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.(NKJV).

Satan has held this world captive, in darkness to follow his way of get, and we think it is the right way. You would think, we, as a nation could see what our way has produced. It isn’t from living in the light of God’s word that has caused all our evils. It would make one wonder, if this world, and that includes our nation, wants to understand the purpose of life, and how to achieve it.

If our leaders understood the purpose of life, and lived accordingly, that would set the example for all, and we would be concerned for everyone, justice would be the way of life but, as it is, its only greed. This world has missed the mark of obedience to our maker, and the building of His mind, attitude, and God’s Holy righteous, character, which, is the purpose of our life, to become like God. You can’t do that without being linked to God by the Holy Spirit.

God won’t give His Spirit to you if you don’t obey Him. God will not have a rebel in His family, or kingdom. Your destiny is to be born again this time into the God family, as sons of God. Christ was the first born among many brethren. Romans 8:29  For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.(NKJV). Yes there are many to follow, some at the first resurrection when Christ returns, but most will be during the 1,000 year reign of Christ before the second resurrection, then by far the greatest majority after the second resurrection.

But everyone whether in your first life, or second life will have an opportunity to know the plan of salvation, this is not the only day of salvation, and to become like God.

New Covenant - 1

In our last article on the new covenant we saw that one of the first things God says, will be in the new and better covenant on better promises, is His law the Ten Commandments. Notice these texts again. Heb. 8:10  "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel: After those days,'' says the Lord, "I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. God said He would make the new and better covenant with the House of Israel. Now it will eventually be made with all nations but it will be made with the House of Israel first. Israel will at last fulfill their responsibility that God gave them, and that was to set an example of living by Gods laws, in the letter, to all other nations  so the world would see what blessings people have for obedience to God’s laws.

Notice Deut. 4:5 "Surely I have taught you statutes and judgments, just as the Lord my God commanded me, that you should act according to them in the land which you go to possess. God said you should act according, meaning to live by His laws, statutes and judgments that are off shoots from the Ten Commandments, God’s law was to be the constitution of the nation of Israel.

The law was in the old, or first covenant, made with the nation of Israel, and will be and is in the new covenant that He will make with the house or nation of Israel and that includes the U. S., Britain, and the British people, as well as Judah whom we call Israel today, plus nine, possibly ten other nations, which will make up the house of Israel after the return of Christ. At that time God’s law will be stamped or written in their hearts, and mind by God’s Holy Spirit which He will pour out on everyone, as you can read of in Joel 2:28-29  28.  "And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions; V. 29.  And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.

Acts 2:16-18 16.  "But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: V. 17.  `And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams. V. 18.  and on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy.  Peter was speaking of the former fulfillment of the prophecy in Joel, of the Holy Spirit, that was poured out on the day of Pentecost when God and Christ begin the New Testament era of the church of God.

It takes God’s spirit to place you in the true church of God, the body of Christ. (Acts 5:32  "And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.''  God gives His spirit to those who obey Him. Anyone in the body of Christ or true church of God today, is living under the terms of the new or better covenant and will have Gods spirit in them, and will be keeping Gods law in the letter, and in the spirit, mind, and attitude.

The old covenant did not offer God’s spirit. The Holy Spirit is, and will be a major part of the new or better Covenant on better promises, and also the law, as Heb. 8:10 states.

What Is The New Covenant?

Some of the last words in the book of Revelation, Chapter 21:8 "But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.''  V. 22:14-15 “Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.  V. 15.  But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.  God is still talking about His law, which still exists.

Many scriptures in the Old Testament, tell us the law still exists after the return of Christ. Yes, after He makes the New and better Covenant on better promises with Israel and Judah. Micah 4:1-2.  Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and peoples shall flow to it.  V. 2.  Many nations shall come and say, "Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths.'' For out of Zion the law shall go forth, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. This is only one of the many scriptures. Perhaps you would like to get your Bible and read these scriptures for yourself. Isa.2:2-3 tells us the same thing.

So, if the law will be valid after Christ returns, then it would have to be today. God’s word stands forever. It isn’t on and off. Now let us begin to look at the New and better Covenant to see if God’s law, the Ten Commandments is a part of it. Heb. 8:6  But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.” Did you notice V. 6 said, Christ is mediator of a better Covenant, established on better promises? It doesn’t say anything about God’s laws being left out of the New or better Covenant, nothing about the law having been nailed to the cross, and no longer in effect. It does say; the better Covenant was established on better promises. What did the first or Old Covenant offer? Did it offer forgiveness of sin? No. Did it offer the Holy Spirit? No. Did it offer eternal life? No. Did it offer salvation? No. It only offered physical, material and financial blessings for keeping, and living by Gods law’s in the letter. There was the ceremonial law, which included the washings and sacrifices, which could never take away sin. Neither could the keeping of the Ten Commandments or the Statutes, and Judgments. Only the blood of Christ, His death, His sacrifice, His life, which He gave for the sins of the world, can cleanse you of sin, and reconcile you to God the Father. This is part of the better promises in the New and better Covenant. Heb. 8:7  For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second.” But what was the fault?  V. 8  Because finding fault with them, He says: "Behold, the days are coming,'' says the Lord, "when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.  Finding fault with the people that had agreed to keep the Covenant God made with them. V. :9 "not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in My covenant, and I disregarded them,'' says the Lord.”  V. :9 Tells us they didn’t continue in God’s Covenant. That was the fault. It was not the Covenant. It was the fact that Israel broke the Covenant they had agreed to keep. Now notice one of the first things God says will be in, and a part of the New and better Covenant on better promises. Heb.8: 10  "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel: After those days,'' says the Lord, "I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.  God wants us to understand the importance of obeying His law’s the Ten Commandments in the letter, and in the Spirit, the heart, mind, and attitude. For if God’s law’s are in our mind, and written on our heart, then God knows we will keep them in the letter as well as in the spirit, mind and attitude. The law was not nailed to the cross. We will let the Bible tell us what was nailed to the cross, and what the better promises are in the New or better Covenant as we continue this topic in future articles.

Who Are We?

We should understand who we are as a nation. We need to realize why, we America, have been the most prosperous, powerful, and blessed nation on earth.

Many would like to think it’s all because, we are more righteous, more religious than any other nation. Now if we knew who we are, and why we have been so blessed, then just maybe we would be a righteous nation in God’s sight. We might appreciate the blessings, that have been ours, much more than we do. We surely would appreciate the true God, and serve Him, if we understood it is God, who saw to it, that we become the greatest nation in the history of mankind as well as inheriting the choicest part of the earth, bread basket, and best climate, with all the natural resources, that have been ours, the fastest growing, and developing nation on earth.

A very good trait of America is, that we have shared much of our wealth with the world. But we are in severe trouble today, and adding more trouble very rapidly. We don’t know what to do to plug the holes in our economic problems anymore. We keep borrowing and printing more money trying to bail out, and turn things around. We hope it works, but don’t stake your life on it. Isn’t that a big part of our financial problems borrowing, printing, spending too much? Doesn’t make sense too think you can solve problems of any kind, the same way you created then. You don’t put out a fire by throwing more fuel on it. Well aren’t we all confused, and just trying to grasp for straws.

How close are we to that last straw? We can’t be far away. We won’t address the root cause of our problems, because we don’t want to change. We are so use to our loose life style, that we want too keep it, and even make it more loose, by drifting farther, and farther from our God, that my friends, is the root cause of our problems, turning our back on our maker.

God told our forefathers Ancient Israel, if they persisted in turning their back on Him by disobeying His laws, that many curses would come upon them, and overtake them. That prophecy was dual; it is also for end time Israel, and especially the U.S., England, and the British people, which inherited the birthright blessings. (NKJV) Deut. 28:15  "But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:----We are overwhelmed with curses, or problems. Notice V. :20  "The Lord will send on you cursing, confusion, and rebuke in all that you set your hand to do, until you are destroyed and until you perish quickly, because of the wickedness of your doings in which you have forsaken Me.-----I ask again, aren’t we confused?

Notice V’s :28-29  "The Lord will strike you with madness and blindness and confusion of heart.  29.  "And you shall grope at noonday, as a blind man gropes in darkness; you shall not prosper in your ways; you shall be only oppressed and plundered continually, and no one shall save you. ----God pulls no punches. He takes credit for seeing to it, that we pay, that we reap what we sow. God also said no one will save you. God tells us in His word, put not your trust in man. (NKJV) Deut.28:63   "And it shall be, that just as the Lord rejoiced over you to do you good and multiply you, so the Lord will rejoice over you to destroy you and bring you to nothing; and you shall be plucked from off the land which you go to possess. ----Yes, God say’s just as He built us, He also says, He will see to it, that we are destroyed. How close are we to the end of our nation, as we have known it?

We as a nation could repent, and turn to our God, but we won’t as a whole until we wake up in captivity, and very few left. But you can repent as an individual begin obeying God, will you? If you will, you can be saved in a physical sense from the time of great tribulation, that’s coming on the whole earth.

This nation is one of the main tribes of Ancient Israel, chosen, loved, and blessed by God. But God said if we turned our back on Him, He would strip us of those blessings. I ask, are those blessings being taken away?
